The Awakening
Smile to confuse the world,
To hide the pain that’s unfurled,
Ahead of the curve, I stand tall,
Different from them, I heed the call.
They laugh at my unique ways,
I laugh at their mundane days,
Monsters within, we all hide,
Truth revealed the world will deride.
They’ll need you now, but leave you behind,
Like a leopard, fierce and unkind,
Madness lurks, a gentle push,
Awakening the truth, our inner rush.
Through doubt and despair, I’ve persisted,
My existence no longer resisted,
People will notice, the light I bring,
A new dawn, where all voices sing.
