Red mayflowers are blooming infront of the house. Aaradhana is trying to take the pictures of the showered mayflowers.She wants to post them in her Facebook account.Facebook is connecting utility to share each and every (past,present and future) moments to our old , new relatives and friends from all over the world.She is living with her mother Vijayalakshmy in her old ancestoral house in a village called Desamangalam in Ernakulam district.Aaradhana’s first marriage was with a womanizer.Now she is getting divorced after a useless 7 years life.He was an irresponsible fellow and was not capable of anything. Now she is getting married to a public figure and heartthrob of film industry Rithvik. Both of them were childhood friends.Earlier dome misunderstandings took their marriage away.Now they decided to live together.Aaradhana is 36 years old.She is a dancer.Her only sister Niranjana is married to Ratheesh Pillai.Both are computer professionals. Aaradhana’s drawing room,there are some paintings and photos of grand father,grandmother and a small 6th standard ‘s boy’s picture .There is also a a painting of Lord Krishna.That is a Thanjavoor painting.The speciality of the painting is that small golden sequences are used for painting that picture of Lord Krishna. Aaradhana’s cousin brother Nanunath had drawn a span concept.The concept is a painting about river and small boat.Then there is also a picture of RajaRaviVarma’s “HAMSADAMAYANTI ” and “YASODAMAYYA AND KRISHNA “”.
The small boy’s picture was none other than Aaradhana’s small maternal uncle Govindankutty.
Years back ago,the story begins in Desamangalam.
N.C.Gopal Menon and N.C.Raman Menon were born in an
old family called Naduvil Chalil.They had 3 sisters.
Their uncle was the ” Sree Modikkaraan”” of the Lord Mahadeva temple. “SreeModikkaran” is the person who safeguard the golden and all type of ornaments of temples.
N.C Gopal Menon had 4 children. His wife Bhasura was his “Murappennu”.N.C. was very tall ,handsome and macho man. Bhasuramma had got a very beautiful body structure. Aarahana had got such a peculiarity .Her eyes will caught the picture of the interesting figures and once it flashes ,she never forgets it.
N.C.Gopal Menon worked at Mysore Palace as the Personal Assistant of Santoor (Mysore) kings. He had also worked in British Wallcot company.And brother N.C.Raman was Tahsildar. Both N.C and Bhasuramma were kindhearted,merciful,humble and educated.
Their house name was ” Kunnathveedu “. Their home was example for “Sweet Home”. They were locally known as Appumman and Bhaichi.
Vijayalakshmy,Jayabharathi ,Jayakumari and Govindankutty are his children.They lived very happily.
Appumman was very fluent in English language. Appuman was also good on mathematics. .Later he developed his progress in Astrology also.
Wow! that was a loving family .The whole village loved them except Cheeria’s.Who were Cheerias? Who were Cheeria’s?You will be wondering?Cheeria was the prime minister of Kochi kings.Although , there is Presidential rule in India,the brute people Cheeria’s wanted to be everything in the world without hardworking,caliber and intelligent quotient.They were very haughty people. Govindankutty, that day also went for tuition. Yesterday had rained.Small lad didn’t recognize the danger lying below the water. Somewhere 11 kv line was going through there.How it was broken? Nobody had answer.Small boy suddenly got a shock from the broken electric 11 kv line beneath the water.Aradhana’s small maternal uncle picture is still hanging there, in their house. Appumman never went even for a case against KSEB workers.That utter tragedy shed everyone’s tears ..Even, every humanitarian characters can never read this story with out agony. She still weep inside for him.Justice delayed is justice denied. Good Lord Almighty may shower kindness to all.
The village of Desamangalam slowly woke up. Birds chirping everywhere
spread out The village of Desamangalam was famous for its secularism. Hindu temples, Christian churches, Muslim mosques, Jewish
synagogues are there . They all likewise live in religious harmony.
Kunnath Kovilakam is a famous for it’s tourist destination. Kunnath Kovilakam is located in Desamangalam village. Desamangalam village is famous for its handloom weaving textile Industry.Now we are tracebacking the story towards Aaradhana’s childhood days.Aaradhana and her loving sister Niranjana studied in the near by school in the town.Both schools they studied (LOWER PRIMARY SCHOOL & HIGH SCHOOL) are owned by same Christian convent Management.. In the school, they always took part in Quizzes,Tests , Sports activities , Competitive and Scolarship ( LSS & USS) examinations. They had always got prizes.Aaradhana won NATARAJ pencil ✏ for her Memory Test competition. She also won FIRST PRIZE in RACE ( 🏃♂️ 🏃♀️ MUST RUNNING BACK) competition by defeating her ( boy cut) junior school mate Sathi. Aaradhana was bob – cut during her childhood days. She posted such accomplishments’ with photo and title in one of the social medias, FACEBOOK .
In the backyard of church,where Aaradhana studied , we can see lot of remainings of old temple. St.Thomas Sleeha had done conversions of .Hindu religion into Christian religion. The big and the gigantic church is an example for it’s standalone architecture and scenic beauty. Aaradhana studied in the school nearby the Christian church.
One day,as usual ,she was on her way to school with her loving sister Niranjana. It was a Saturday. Headmistress of the school allowed everyone to exempt school uniform on that day. So Aaradhana wore her most beautiful Libian frock. There are a few kilometers on their way to bus stop. While both sisters were going to school, a cruel incident happened. Aaradhana atonce saw a half – naked man in the street alone of distance behind them.They never noticed it.
But alas! Aaradhana had never heard about such cruel and sadist experiences in her life. She had not yet ever recognized ,that such bitter experiences happening in the world. Aaradhana was looking cute in her sky-blue coloured frock. Suddenly she shocked, because that half- naked sadist did a very cruel and menial job .That cruel person touched her bottom of frock over her thighs and forcily molested her by taking up her frock from the legs.
She atonce shouted “mad , mad ” . Because she hadn’t ever even heard or recognized about such cruel incidents happening in the world. It was the first time ,such a bitter and cruel experience happened to her.
Tears rolled down from Niranjana’s eyes atonce.That cruel,sadist ran fast
to the pocket- road and hid somewhere else. Aaradhana and her sister slowly
went to the bus- stop. How she entered into the private- bus.That she always remembers.She inside her mind took an oath that ?You will be wondering.
What was that? We have God to protect us. GOD EXISTS .Thus the small girl studying in the 7 th standard and her sister stepped into the private bus.
Because she was a small girl,she forgot everything with in the time,she reached the school while participating in the activities of the school.
And when she reached her house, she took a vow and said to herself.
She knew that in the great epic story Ramayana, Goddesss Sita’s mother , took her away into the earth . Goddess of Earth is Sita’s mother.In her most disheartening mood,she took a pledge that if she somewhere saw that sadist,cruel person,she would throw atonce many stones at him.That was her, ever solemn oath.
