Last month a lady in my building passed away she was no one else but my former tuition teacher who taught me from 3grade to8th
Her family was in good relations with us they would give us Diwali sweets we would give them Christmas cake post covid she slipped into depression went through multiple fractures all this seemed normal to me until a few months ago i went down to get Maggie on my way back to my floor i saw her standing on the gate my house is on 3rd floor hers 2nd i said namaste she replied the same but she was not the women who thought me for 6 years not the one who used to beat the shit out of me for not doing my homework not the one who used to give us chocolate every second day she must have recognized me but i didn’t i came back home the maggie didn’t taste good a month later i got to know she passed away her body was kept in a huge freezer
for one whole day the next day i was on my way to get Maggie reaching the second floor i stopped i saw people taking the freezer down in which she was lying dead for cremation
I came back home kept the Maggie in kitchen i was no longer hungry .
She tried committing suicide several times
Was on antidepressants .
Death is kind ,
But she deserved a better one
