The first time I watched “Hichki,” I was probably 12. Watching it again after years left me with one question: “Do such teachers exist?” Personally speaking, no matter how much you try, you won’t get a satisfactory answer to this question. There’s one line I heard a teacher say, “Teachers are like mothers, but they are not mothers.”I’m no one to comment on that. Watching the movie again after years did make me feel good, but I find the movie and reality to be two worlds apart. If there are teachers like Naina Mathur, then being attached to them is no harm. However, if they don’t exist, teacher attachment could be the worst decision of your life.
