Since childhood I have read stories with the moral,
“Do good have good”.
I am sure that you have also read it during your academic career. When I was a child, I believed this moral wholeheartedly. I used to have firm faith that if I cared about others and helped them then all my good efforts would come back to me in my hour of need. I had strong faith.
Until I entered my practical life, then this foolish illusion was cleared in just a single month. All my faith shattered the moment when I have to deal with the unjust attitude of my coordinator and i became a victim of favoritism.
And the worst thing is that the one who pumped and instigate my coordinator was the very colleague whom I used to help a lot even at the cost of my own comfort.
Now I know the reality that this quote is a mere myth.
This story is not fiction. It’s a real story of one of my friends. And unfortunately it is happening everywhere. If a single reader of this post decides to ban favoritism in his institute then it will be worth it. Please give a thought. Even a single effort can have a severe effect. You can not change the world but you can change your surroundings. Best of luck!!!!!
