Amidst the chai tapri’s gentle steam, I pondered life’s silent theme,
Within my chest, a heartbeat’s strife, it linked me to each soul in life.
Do others share these thoughts profound, as they in life’s great dance are bound?
When life’s last ember starts to fade, do they reflect on choices made?
As the breath of life, so quietly slips, do they glimpse past on memory’s ships?
Do they regret what’s left undone, or find solace as their race is run?
In moments when the final end nears, do they ponder what the world hears?
How they’ll be recalled, in tales and song, after their life’s journey is gone.
As I left with thoughts anew in mind, to my friend’s side, my steps inclined,
I realized, it’s not just to ponder and see, but in actions, we define what life can be.
