1) if by rudyard kipling - this is the best advice from a father to a son. It talks about values character and everything that all human beings should follow. The lines i feel are best are " you can fill the unforgiving minute

Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!" It teaches us so many things. Time flies, we should utilise each and every second and that's what would us a good human being. It still gives me goosebumps.
2) the road not taken by Robert Frost - ohh this one in those ages itself told us about not to follow the masses. Be creative be different think out of the box. And you would see a difference. I also interpret it as not everything that seems sunny is happy. We need to actually go and experience live their life. Another way of looking at it is everybody has some shortcomings, everybody is fighting a battle - big or small.
3) daffodils by William Wordsworth - For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,

Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.
Ohh these lines. Etched in my memory. These refer to all those moments of happiness- thinking about those takes us to fairyland with a happiness all over. A beacon of heavenly light.
4) Ozymandias by Percy Bysshe Shelly - this sonnet it took me some time to actually understand the deep meaning.
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay

Very clearly tells that power that also unruly will not give you good fame.
You will be left all alone in moments of despair.
It also tells that eventually everything is dirt. We came empty handed and we leave this Earth in the same manner.
Hope you like these poems as well. Also please recommend other poems.
