Today it was
raining
everybody was happy
but the broken leaf
was paining
till today
it was protecting us
from heat
now it is under
people's feet
yesterday it was
shining
only one blink and here it is
shrinking
always it tries to fly towards
the sky
but when it happens
silly leaf falls on
the earth which has given it
birth .
