Oh! diabetes ,oh ! #diabetes,
You gave me surprise,
And came in my life,
To control you in my blood,
My mom has changed,
My breakfast too.
So to make me cope up with you diabetes ,
Mom gives me breakfast low in #calorie and high in #protein,
I am strict vegetarian,
Still my mother has added #eggs in my breakfast
As eggs are low in calories and high in protein,
Hence help me in reducing blood glucose levels in me.
I asked my mother ,
Is something special about egg protein?
The protein in eggs are special in sense,
They have ability to help diabetic person,
They slow down the #absorption of glucose in blood,
Therefore help to regulate blood sugar levels ,
The #yolk in egg contains antioxidants and nutrients ,
Which are beneficial for diabetic person health,
Recent Research findings suggest,
Boost in metabolic activity does eggs ,
Eggs also make you feel fuller for longer,
Therefore ideal choice are eggs ,
For people to lose #weight too.
My mother has added porridge to my breakfast,
I asked my mom,
How porridge help in reducing sugar levels?
Porridge made of oats and millet Ragi and quona ,
Although they contain #carbohydrates,
But they are the soluble #fibre content of oats ,ragi and quinoa respectively ,
Therefore they can help to lower blood sugar levels in me ,
My mother adds #pumpkin seeds to my porridge for breakfast,
Which give feel of extra crunch to my breakfast ,
further help reduce blood sugar levels in me.
