Blurring to shadows, absent any trace of light?
No glimmer to direct, no sparkle above,
Just void where they once sparkled with affection.
Would we scan the dim for a sign,
Or on the other hand figure out how to stroll without their sparkle?
When the stars become dark, what will remain?
