Delegates from different nations gathered in a grand hall to sign an entire great treaty. The entire world looked with hope, expecting that of decades of conflict come to an end. However, not everyone wanted peace.
Agent Karim, a covert operative, uncovered a conspiracy to assassinate one of the key diplomats, and the assassins would lay the blame at the door of the other nation to fight again. Karim raced against time, juggling between political intrigue and personal danger.
During the signing of the treaty, the assassination attempt opened. Karim intervened, saving the would-be victim, but exposed himself as a spy. The room went haywire, and the treaty was abandoned.
Both countries accused one another of sabotage, and war resumed. Karim disappeared, and his efforts went unrecognized by anybody, just to be discovered many decades later in documents. By then, the opportunity for peace was long gone, in a tragedy historians came to call “the Treaty That Never Was.”
