Between two warring nations lies a No Man’s Land: the forsaken red stretch of earth and human blood. It was said that there was a village somewhere hidden in the magic and rumors.

Captain Elena was a soldier-prisoner sent to investigate what she had discovered. It was a utopia where former enemies now lived in peace. Farmers were tending to their farm fields, children were playing and elders were exchanging their memories of unity.

But this peace was very fragile. When she reported to her commanders about the village, they ordered to destroy it because they feared it might inspire rebellion. Elena stayed before two choices: whether to obey the orders or protect the village.

She chose the latter, rallying villagers to defend their haven. It was a bloody battle that followed. On one side, the soldiers failed to take the plunge as there were their kin in undeniable sight. They didn’t die as a result of gunfire, but threw down their arms in a shared passion.

Then No Man’s Land became a beacon of hope: if peace could blossom in the darkest times, then as sure as dawn follows night, a dawn will come through those dark times.
