on the other side of the darkening window
rain pour over the neon lit street glistening
in all shades of yellow
brimming from the lamppost sun hanging upside down
shadowshake as lightness drunkenly fumble at the door of dark
as thunder strikes and split the sky in electric shapes
the heavy wind
smudges the rain drops at the edge of window pane
slowly melting down lost in a war against the world
shinning in the bright victory holding hands of tall buildings
with upward shoulders that swallow the tenants from the cold outside
but to me the world is bleak
it's cold and blue and mostly make me feel pathetic
as I toss inside my blanket with poems of
love and tragedies
burning my eyes
i travel in the fare of love market where
pickled soul wither out like
tuberoses spilling out of a vase on the
bedside under the pretense of earth pulling it back home
