In the quiet dawn, where shadows blend,
A final whisper bids the end,
The world stands still, in solemn grace,
As time turns soft, to slow its pace.
His chair sits empty, cold and bare,
Echoes of his laughter fill the air,
A void where once his presence shone,
Now silence falls, and I stand alone.
The days we shared, now distant dreams,
Fading like the sun’s last beams,
In the gentle hush of evening’s close,
I reach for you, but no one knows.
Memories, like faded photographs,
Capture moments, gentle laughs,
The wisdom in his weathered gaze,
A guide through all life’s winding maze.
Yet, in the night when stars are bright,
I feel him near, just out of sight,
In whispers of the wind, I find,
The strength and love he left behind.
Grief is but a shadow’s play,
A passage through the night to day,
And though he’s gone, his essence stays,
In the heart’s enduring, timeless blaze.
So I’ll hold dear each precious part,
The echoes of his loving heart,
In every dawn and setting sun,
His spirit lives, his journey done.
