    Ingredients: flour two and a half cups, baking powder 1 teaspoon, cocoa powder 2 teaspoons, butter half a cup, sugar one and a half cups, baking powder half a teaspoon, eggs 2, vanilla essence 1 teaspoon, buttermilk 1 cup, Baking soda 1 teaspoon, salt a pinch and red food coloring 2 tablespoons.

    Method: Mix flour, baking powder and Salt well in a bowl. In another bowl, mix cocoa powder, food coloring well. In another bowl, mix butter and sugar well. Give the egg beat well. Add vanilla, red food coloring and cocoa powder. Now keep pouring the flour mixture little by little. Once well mixed keep adding buttermilk little by little. Make the mixture. Now preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Once preheated, mix the baking soda into the cake mix. Bake for 15 minutes. When done, take it out and let it rest for 5 minutes. Serve with butter cream frosting if desired.
