NATO defense ministers to discuss the war in Ukraine
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte today Friday opened the second day of the meeting of the defense ministers of the alliance when they met in Brussels to discuss international issues including the war in Ukraine.
The Secretary-General said the Coalition was significantly increasing support for Ukraine for its defense now and in the future.
He also highlighted plans to increase the capacity of defense industries, production and supply chains throughout the Union.
The comments were made today Friday before a private session.
On Thursday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met in Brussels with European Union leaders and then NATO defense ministers to discuss his plan to end the country’s fierce war with Russia.
The plan aims to make Russia end the crisis through dialogue.
