When the first drop of rain
falls on the earth,
all living beings welcome it with joy Everyone dances happily
after getting relief from the hot sun
That first scent of wet soil,
oh the peace!
The farmer starts his work to satisfy the hunger of the earth
The earth is green in color and attracts everyone
Ah! How beautiful to see
It is as if Mother Earth is wearing a green saree
and carrying all the living beings
The rains of that rainy season bring joy to everyone’s heart.
