I didn’t knew him
Until he called my name,
It was so stupid of me
To miss such a flame.
A flame much brighter
To lighten my face,
To make me blush
To make my heart race.
A race filled with hindrance
To test my patience,
To test my courage
To check my preservance.
“Are you okay?”, he asked me once
To which I said, “Yeah! Alright”,
I could see little care
In his sparkling eyes.
But that was a friendly one
It’s not fair to think that way,
However, he is the one to
Give me butterflies straight away!
