This poem is all about the incorrect perceptions that the society puts forward, while making an honest judgement, which indeed turns out of be a massacre for the people who are proven to be guilty by these incorrect perceptions. According to the poet, everyone has the right to impose their own point of views, however it is very important to make sure that in the end, these views should not turn up as incorrect perceptions.

The poet wants to convey that the world is filled with lies even in the presence of a hope to live a true life. That does not mean that truth has totally faded away. In this world of untruthfulness, being a true soul is indeed a very difficult task. But if one becomes successful in mastering it, attains eternal peace and satisfaction.

Live for today. Stop procrastinating and putting off that “thing” you’ve been meaning to do because tomorrow will never come. Do it now! 

The poet wants to convey through this poem that whatever obstacle you face in life, whenever you get downcasted for your trials, whenever time does not favor according to your desire, the only being you can ever trust entirely, is none other than you, yourself ! So, never lose yourself.

This is free verse poetry of life. We are always running in life, in search of what, we never know. But at some point we have to take a pause to understand that what we are searching for in life.
