When people hear of something that is completely unknown to them, first they tend to consider it wrong and prefer to dismiss it. The same goes for spiritual work. Because of many wrong superstitions and misconceptions, most people avoid developing their spiritual side.

They may think it's to complicated, to time-consuming or that it could drive them crazy. But if we make things simple and find a way to integrate our spiritual work in our daily routine, we will develop a way of life that benefits our mind, body and spirit. This is reflected in the way we look, in our relationships, in our health and even in our financial situation.

So, one of the main aspects that have a powerful impact on our daily lives are the 7 chakras.

    What are the chakras?

Chakras are the 7 energy points in our body. We cannot see them, but we can feel them, as an energetic vortex, more precisely a smaller or larger tremor, in the specific area. Each chakra corresponds to a color and also each of them is responsible for certain aspects of our lives and for the health of the organs in the specific area where it is located. When they are blocked or out of balance, feelings such as fear, guilt or shame can occur, you may even have problems with money and experience some physical illness in certain areas of your body.

When all our chakras are clear and balanced, we can basically get everything we want in our lives because there are no more blockages.

When one or more of our cakras are stuck, we may feel that somethings goes wrong, depending on the chakra. We can also acknowledge this,  if there are health problems in the specific area.

    Chakras and their purpose

Root chakra is the first chakra and is represented by the colour red. It corresponds to our primary needs and is responsible for our fears. When it is out of balance may occur colon issues, lower back pain and emotional issues surrounding money.

The next one is the Sacral chakra, located in the hip area. Its color is orange and it represents our guilt. It is responsible for the creative blocks in our life, infertility and sexual dysfunction.

The Third chakra is the Solar plexus chakra, in the stomach area,  This one shows our shame.  When not balanced, it can cause bloating, liver issues, stomach ulcers, procrastination and lack of confidence.

The Heart chakra is represented by the color green and it shows first of all our self-love. If it is blocked we may have heart and lungs problems asthma, allergies and fear of intimacy.

The Throat chakra, with its color blue, shows our indecision and repressed emotions. It may bring thyroid disease and frequent sore throat.

The sixth chakra is situated between our eyebrows and is called the Third Eye Chakra. Its color is indigo and it is related to our intuition. Signs that this chakra is blocked or out of balance are poor eyesight, depression and hormonal imbalances.

The Crown chakra has the color  purple and it shows our relationship with the spiritual world.  This chakra is not all right when you feel out of balance, have trouble sleeping or a difficulty meditating.

Our chakras can be blocked since our past life, due to our karma, or we can block them unconsciously during our lives. This is actually not so important as knowing how to treat them.

How do we integrate them into our daily life routine?

To keep our chakras balanced, we don't necessarily have to spend a lot of time or resort to special rituals if we don't feel this need, but just keep a few details in mind every day.

The first thing is to concerns what we eat. It is not for nothing that we are told to eat fruits and vegetables, in addition to the dose of health they give us, they are a real help in treating our chakras. The secret is to eat vegetables and fruits of each color corresponding to the chakras.

In terms of colors corresponding to our energy centers, we can also use our clothes. We can use clothing pieces of the color of each chakra in that area: root chakra- red, sacral chakra- orange, solar plexus chakra -yellow, heart chakra -green, throat chakra- blue, third eye chakra -indigo and crown chakra purple.

At the bottom, it would be perfect if you chose a skirt, a pair of pants or even shoes in red color. A red hand bag can also be a good choice.

The blouse, shirt or sweater can be yellow, green and even orange in the hip area. The same applies to the jacket or coat. For example, an orange belt in light tones looks good even on a pair of simple jeans and it can be the piece that makes your daily outfit special. If you do not like to wear too colorful outfits, you can use these rules for your underwear.

For the neck area the accessories should be blue. If you have a necklace made of blue crystals like aquamarine, turquoise or sapphire it would be even better.

When you want to buy a new pair of sunglasses, you should choose a dark blue one. They fit almost any outfit and their color helps balance the third eye chakra.

On your head you may wear a purple hat or a purple scarf and some navy earrings help you too. Purple is a color that will always make you look classy.

We can also use crystal stones as accessories. As well as balancing the chakras they also improve our mood. Carneol, Citrine, Amber crystals, rose quartz, Lapus Lazuli, Amethyst, clear quartz; in this order, there are some of the appropriate crystals for each chakra. The secret is again to use crystals in each part of the body corresponding to the color of the chakra.

Sport also helps us in keeping our chakras clean and also to open them if they are blocked. So, a few proper exercises before or after our usual workout won't take up too much of our time. Such exercises can easily be found in yoga practices, but also on specialized websites, where you can find the exactly technics.

We all listen to music every day. And if we choose the right kind of music, it will also help us do a little  spiritual work. The first chakra is suited to loud music such as rock or even club music, the second one is balanced by oriental music, and the chakra in the stomach area needs Latin music. To heal the heart chakra listen to some classical music and for the higher chakras a meditation in silence is perfect.

Also there are numerous channels that create specific frequencies for each chakra. Thus, you need just 20 minutes to keep your chakras healthy with some smooth sounds in the background.

Therefore, while we're cooking breakfast, cleaning our home, getting ready to go out or even party nice dressed, we can take care of our energy centers.

And there are many other ways to keep your mind, body and soul healthy, just by integrating them into your daily lifestyle without having to make any sacrifices.  But you will slowly discover them over time and decide for yourself which one you resonate with; the key is just to get started.
