Tell me do you also plan your day down to the very hour?

Some of us write down our daily routine in detail, while others carry it in their head. Because since childhood we were taught the value of time.

    Phrases like

So we got so afraid that we plan everything in a day or at least try to.

But does the whole plan work out at the end of the day?

    No.

And it leaves us with a lot of stress and tension for tomorrow and the upcoming future.

I was like this. Planning everything for the entire day. Making sure I complete all my daily tasks, overthinking every step. How to utilize my time properly to get some more time out of it.

    Did I succeed?

    Yes.

In the majority of days there weren’t any complications. But on days when I woke up thinking everything would go as usual and something unexpected happened, those days really disturbed me.

Not because of that unexpected thing but because my whole day routine got ruined.

Recently when I took a vacation I realized none of us can plan everything in our lives. Living our life in a routine, not giving ourselves a breather will make us miserable and toxic.

At least I was becoming one. Spending time outside my daily routine helped me reconnect with the inner child in me. I realized I am still a normal person and can feel happiness. Smile wholeheartedly when something amazing happened in front of my eyes.

Interacting with strangers, and soaking in nature and its beauty taught me

    So what should we do?

Plan out the big things, make a routine of important things that you have to do in a day and leave the rest of the time free for the day.

Kind of like putting speed limit boards on that twisted road. Which is easier compared to planning everything out, because it’s like putting footpaths on that road.

In this way, if something unexpected does happen, you can manage because you have that free time. And if nothing happens then you can work or enjoy time with yourself or your loved ones.

Moreover you won’t be frustrated all the time. Stress and overthinking will occur less and most importantly you will LIVE.

And in order to live, we work. Not the other way around.

Thank you for staying until the end!
