ABOUT INTERIORS OF MARAZZO
The interior of the new Marazzo MPV too comes with a swanky looking design. Now the Marazzo comes in both 7-seater and 8-seater layouts and both these versions have slight changes. While the 7-seater Marazzo MPV features captain seat in the middle row, the 8-seater model gets a foldable bench seat with a 40:20:40 split function. The overall cabin design has a premium-looking and upmarket feel to it, while the off-white interior comes with dual-tone black & off-white dashboard with a glossy centre panel and a multi-pixel design. To add a luxurious touch, Mahindra also offers a futuristic cluster with purple illumination.
EXTERTIOR OF MARAZZO
Mahindra says that the design and development of the Marazzo MPV costed the company around $200 million, and is a complex combination between Mahindra Automotive North America (MANA), Mahindra Research Valley (MRV) and Mahindra-owned Italian design firm Pininfarina. So it was obvious that the Marazzo was destined to have the largest footprint seen on any Mahindra model yet. The dimensions speak for itself as the large body is highlighted with bold exterior features and aggressive styling. The styling, said to be inspired by the shark, hits you instantly with the aggressive and butch look. In the front, the Marazzo comes with the stylish new chrome-toothed grille along with bold double barrel headlamps that get the pilot lights. Moreover the foglamps are eye-shaped with integrated LED daytime running lamps. You also get 17-inch alloy wheels with large ORVMs and shark-tail-inspired tail lamps. It comes connected by a thick chrome slat.
The new Mahindra Marazzo comes with only one engine option and that’s in diesel. The new 1.5-litre diesel engine churns out 121 bhp of max power and 300 Nm of peak torque, while the torque kicks in pretty early at 1500rpm. Accordant to the company, the new engine is made of aluminum, which has helped Mahindra reduce considerable weight.
