Mindfulness has been inspired by Eastern Philosophies like Buddhism and has found its place among different mental health interventions. Mindfulness has been studied as an efficient way to handle mental health concerns and brain imaging shows physical changes in the structure and function of the brain. But like many different things in life, what works for others might not work for us especially we push ourselves too much without proper care- this applies to mindfulness based practices too.
