Google’s Own Chip : Google Pixel 3’s Secret Weapon for Performance

Google last year on their Made by Google event launched the Pixel 2 without talking about Visual Core. Visual Core was a chip set that Google developed on its own and was dormant at time of launch, but was later activated using software update to boost image processing. Could their be similar story with the Pixel 3 this time around?

This year rumors have been coming that #Google will feature a #Snapdragon 845, 4gigs of RAM, and have whopping 6.7inch screen for their #Pixel3

These specs are okay… But 4 gigs of RAM is something too 2016, and a 6.7 inch screen with a 3400mah battery won’t last. Considering this we have to understand that their is something being hidden, because Google won’t make a half effort in Pixel series after #Nexus has already fallen, and they have put in so much for hardware in 2 years.

Here is the thing. The a #VisualCore was mainly for AR stuff, but it shows that Google is going towards the direction of its own chipsets. And if they had started to move in that direction, their won’t be any point moving back. Google is really serious about hardware since the time #SundarPichai became Google’s CEO.

I believe Google has some secret processor or may be a seprate GPU in their Pixel 3 apart from the leaked specs, that will help them bump up the performance.

They might not finish Snapdragons altogether considering the leaks, and the fact that they won’t take a risk that big to quick, but like Visual Core, they can definitely have something that works in collaboration with the Snapdragon 845.

They have really great software optimizations but software optimizations won’t bridge the gap between 4gigs and 8gigs of RAM (forget about beating thoose 8Gig RAM phones)

And Google knows it more than we do. And therefore it is more likely than not that Google includes a secret chip to overtake all of its competition and become a market leaders in terms of performance.

There are no leaks about the same but these are what i expect from Google. Things will get clear as we head towards launch event
