How Would Steve Jobs Pitch to Sell a Pen Using His Marketing Skills

So I would be imagining Steve Jobs standing on a stage on the date of iPhone X launch, just launching a pen, called Apple Pen (NOT to be confused with Stylus). I have very well studied Steve Jobs and Tries to Match his Style as Much as Possible

12th September 2017, Launch Day, Cupertino, California

Steve Jobs: Good Morning, We Have a Very Special Launch today.

So to begin with I will take you back in time. every once in a while a pardigm shift comes that changes our perception about things. Not just a minor difference a whole lot change in reception of a though or thing.

There was a point 100 years ago when to get ice you had to wait for winters then go to some frozen river to cut the ice. Then came the ice factory, whenever you want ice go to the factory and buy it. Then came refrigerator, ice at your home get everything you want at your home.

The similarity among them was that they were not slight improvements they were massive, they made paradigm shift they made us change the way we see and perceive things. Today with iPhone we are going to do the same Wonder.

Another great marvel is a pen. The pen has a world in it. A pen defines who you are (pun intended).  A pen is stronger than most of the pen, and the work that pen does can change world. The works of pen can outlast greatest monuments, This is what William Shakespeare wrote in one of his sonnets:

(below is displayed on screen)

Not marble, nor the gilded monuments

Of princes, shall outlive this powerful rhyme;

But you shall shine more bright in these contents

Than unswept stone, besmear’d with sluttish time

So we know that pen is really important. Now Pencil was invented 100s of years ago. The pen was invented to finish the problem of sharpening the pencil. But for so many years the thing has been just the same. More or less the size of pen has remained them. And the problem is that we need to put refill in it. And it costs also.

Now we have solved the problem with using electric power. The idea is to get a mark of wherever you move your pen through paper. So in earlier times we used to do it by engraving it on rocks. Right?, So we can do it today also, we would engrave whatever we want over paper.

But simply engraving would require lot of effort, and there would be a problem of color. So what we have done is made a electric pen. You charge the pen, and the pen would use electricity, and whenever the pen touches page, it would produce little heat, to burn the page at that point. Now we have insured that the heat doesn’t cause page to catch fire. Upon touching the heat would be mild so that a small mark is only left. More over with the help of hardware and software present in top, it insures to put on fire, only when it touches a paper. You can link the pen with your phone and track it so that it never gets lost. Moreover you can see the battery it has left withing the phone.

Now 10 mins of charge can write 500 pages. And no need to go to market to buy refill. Moreover it ensures that the color is consistent. You can adjust the shade by a dial at a top, and that particular shade would remain throughout. Most of the times the last 20% of ink, gives really light impression, that won’t be the case with it.

We would be charging $99. Thank You.

Note: All ideas and thoughts are of my own, and this is a piece of fiction. Though i still tried to match style of Steve Jobs
