LG V40 ThinQ
3rd October, New York and Seoul
#LG would be launching its V40 ThinQ. With 4 flagships this year LG would like to make some impact, after all they never have decent growth in there shares. As far as the rumoured specifications of the LG V40 ThinQ are concerned, the smartphone will feature 6.4-inch QHD+ POLED notched FullVision display and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with 6GB RAM. For the software, the smartphone is expected to ship with Android 9.0 Pie on board and for the battery, it will sport a 3,300 mAh battery. They would feature 3 cameras at the back. One portrait, one wide angle and one zoom lens. The triple rear setup is expected to have 20-megapixel, 16-megapixel and 13-megapixel sensors, while for the front there will also be dual sensors with unknown resolution.
Google Pixel 3
9th October, New York and Paris
#Google launchesits Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL on 9th October. They would be first Google phones to feature notch. Though the smaller one would still keep bezel. They would be featuring single camera at back and rellying on Software instead. The launch event will be livestreamed over YouTube at ‘Made By Google’ YouTube channel.
Google is rumoured to have click baited the Pixel 3, with leaking fake Pixel 3. Some people even believe that Google may present revolutionary bezeless display, though the practical possibilities seem narrow because Google does not make its own displays and out sources it from Samsung or LG. If the display was outsourced then Samsung or LG could have put up on their phone.
The specification sheet for Google is expected to feature Snapdragon 845, 6gigs of RAM etc. Though one thing I feel is Google may be having some secret chip with it this year. Last year Google showed of its secret AR Core chip. This year it may be something even bigger.
They are also speculated to launch USB type C Pixel Buds, that would as expected be featuring Google Assistant and stronger integration with the Pixel. They might also launch the Pixelbook, which is #Google’s laptop running Chrome OS, it’s first version came year ago along with Pixel2.
Razer Phone 2
10th October, Hollywood
#RazerPhone would be coming up and as we know that Gamers are a smaller audience and as a result does not have much leaks. But we know that it would have great specs, and not so great design. Well its design is only and only for gamers. Razer Phone would have big bezels, chunky design, 16:9 aspect ratio, 5000mah battery and Snapdragon 845 supported with 8 gigs RAM. It shall have great cooling system, and great speakers to ensure awesome media experience.
Samsung Mystery Phone
11th October, Malaysia
Samsung is bringing up A Galaxy Event on 11th October teased as 4x Fun. It may be Galaxy S10 featuring Quad Cameras or Foldable Display or may be 4x Zoom in standard setup. Samsung has teased in its Newsroom titling invites for a Galaxy Event. Galaxy definitely means a premium range smartphone launch. But the point is what is launching.
#Samsung has 2 flagships like every year launched this year, then what is the third one. Earlier this year it was teased Samsung may be launching quad camera phone at the end of year. It could mean that Samsung might be launching its #FoldableDisplay phone at the #Event. The fold would divide the phone in 2 halfs, so you have 2 screens in front and 2 at back making the #Samsung device have 4 screens.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro
October 16th, London
The renders show that the HuaweiMate 20 and #Mate20Pro will be following the 2018 trend of incorporating a notch in its design. This time around, however, the so-called “teardrop” notch is significantly smaller in size, similar to the Oppo F9. The notch sits atop a 6.3-inch AMOLED screen with a 2244×1080 resolution. It also has a volume rocker button and a power button on the right side of the device. Uncovered firmware files have revealed that under the hood the Mate 20 will house a HiSilicon Kirin 980 chip, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, and a 4,200 mAh battery. With 3 cameras that are some what becoming this year.
17th October, Not Confirmed
#OnePlus is also expected to launch its #OnePlus6t which would be ditching the headphone jack, and having the OnePlus Bullet headphones with USB-Type C DAC. The launch date isnot known yet but it will be launched at 17th October. They would be featuring Snapdragon 845, 6/8 gigs of RAM. The phone is going to feature tear drop notch following the trend of smaller and smaller notches. It will be having 3 cameras, 3rd being 3d depth sensing camera to improve overall image quality. It will also be having in display fingerprint sensor. Being the first flagship to do this move.
OnePlus 6t would not be featuring headphone jack, confirmed by company, USB Type-C Bullet Earphones would be used instead. #OnePlus has ever since supported headphone jack. #Apple ditched it with their #iPhone 7, over 2 years ago. Now OnePlus and Samsung were the only ones left besides some small manufacturers.
