In the name of peace

Peace, a big red apple, coughing in my throat,

Silence, a lush pink tongue, meandering my lips,

Violence, with its teeth munching at my bones,

Voiceless, to remain alive I become a ghost.

I saw you drowning in the hopes of others,

Slendered by their wishes, you, hanging by frail rope.

The scent of dreamy waters filled your red nose,

Every month, many women walk through a silent storm one that rages within, unseen by the world. Period pain isn't only about cramps or backaches. It's about the wave of emotions that crash over her like a tide she didn’t ask for. It's the sudden tear in her eye when a song plays too softly or the anger that bubbles up over a misplaced word. It's the irritation when nothing feels right not her clothes, not her food, not even her own skin.

When I was in school my parents taught me that activities like dance music and drama are #waste of time. I used to wonder how come it is so. Unfortunately I never got proper answer of my question. 

When I joined  #B. Ed degree course in college, I found that co-curricular activities make you smart in other #aspects of life which you do not cover in pure academic  #curriculum.

मोहब्बत तो अब भी करती हूँ मैं तुमसे.... तुम और तुम्हारी बातें कैद है मेरी स्मृतियों में .... उन सारी छवियों का प्रक्षेपण होता रहता है... और मैं डूब जाती हूँ उनमें... तुम्हारा हँसता हुआ चेहरा, तुम्हारी नटखटी हरकते... सब कुछ मेरी आँखों के सामने दिखता है और मैं फिर उनमें खो जाती हूँ.... फिर जब होश आता है तो खुद को समझाती हूँ कि क्यों सोच हो तुम उसको जिसको कभी तुमसे मोहबब्त ही नहीं था, क्यों खो जाती हो उसके ख्यालों में जिसने तुम्हारा कभी ख्याल ही नहीं किया आखिरकार क्यों???? जिसका जवाब मेरे पास नहीं होता है 😔

We as human don't spend time with oneself and just let go of things which help us understand and do the same. I had a time where one of my friend could read like a open a book. Just nothing but like the one he could read my mind with expression I made. I was blown away as I had never ever understood myself in such a way. I couldn't hide anything from him as my problems were solved by him and he did everything possible to not let me find myself.
