lately, days go by
as if slipping from my hands,
each day feels the same,
been busy with work,
no time to think,
everything seems to be going downhill,
the 365 that had gone in a blink,
my playlist doesn’t sound the same to me,
my friend list just shrank,
never wished on something big,
been longing for the little things,
it’s been twenty-two days since January,
yet, it lives in my heart,
as if, since forever
