Hello, thank you for taking the time to view my article. It’s lovely to have you here! Let’s get started.
We might have seen a dream at some point in time in the non-waking hours. A dream can be defined in various ways based on our own personalized interpretation of the same. For me, I understand a dream as a unique visual and verbal representation of our thoughts and feelings during our sleep. I am here to share some of my key observations and learnings regarding dreams and their basic patterns:

1. Worries and challenges-A dream could depict our present state of mind in terms of our inherent worries and ongoing challenges that we might be facing in our day-to day lives. If we are fearful regarding something, we could also see a dream related to that fear and worry. However, the interpretation of a dream might vary depending upon our own personalized context and offer insights into unresolved struggles and emotions.
2. Life goals-A dream could also represent something related to our specific life goals that we might have planned for ourselves. If we are thinking a lot about the possible action plans around the same, we might also see a dream around those related aspects. For example- I once had to finish an important project assignment in high school and there was a lot to be covered in a short time span plus I had to devote a good amount of time to my upcoming final board exams, so, I was very tensed on how to make it all work together. During that time, I saw mixed kinds of dreams, some hinted at me missing my planned timeline and the other dreams depicted that I was continuously sitting and working towards the completion of my targeted goals.
3. Crucial decisions-If there are some ongoing discussions that we take part in due to some crucial decisions that we might have to take in the near future, these could also be at the forefront of our conscious mind and when we fall asleep, it could act through our subconscious mind and we might dream something related to the same. In some instances, when there is a specific pattern in our dreams, this could also help us towards a specific direction in our waking hours.
4. Thoughts and feelings-In general, I have observed that dreams mainly depict the way our thoughts and feelings are processed by our mind on any specific day. When we feel happy and our thoughts are generally optimistic, we might see a dream depicting hope and happiness. Alternatively, if we are not feeling motivated, we might dream of something along similar lines which could depict our lack of motivation around those specific days.
I feel a dream in itself is very diverse and comprehensive in nature. Some people might have a high frequency of getting a lot of dreams when they are asleep, while the other people might not get dreams with that much high frequency. This clearly hints at its subjective nature varying from one person to the other. I have also observed that sometimes these dreams might also not have a very specific pattern, they could be very random and we might not be able to clearly interpret the same. There also have been some instances, where I was not able to remember a dream clearly post waking up from my sleep. Hence, it’s always not quite possible to interpret each and every dream that we might have seen. As dreams have their own unique distinguishing characteristics, we should never push ourselves to always have a specific interpretation as that could put an additional stress on ourselves. Hence, in those instances, we could just consider a dream to be a natural part of our respective sleep cycle.
Thank you so much for your time. I will catch up soon and, in the meantime, wishing you a very pleasant day ahead!
