    "Shackles of Freedom"

Two paths unfold, like diverging streams,

    For teenagers, freedom's double-edged dreams.

On one side, liberty's banner unfurls,

But excesses creep, and futures whirl.

Unbridled choices, like autumn's fallen leaves,

Choke promise and potential, as reckless deeds.

Some falter, lost, in freedom's maze,

Their tomorrow's shattered, like a broken daze.

Yet, others thrive, with balance as their guide,

Their freedom's wings, lift them to the other side.

Responsibility's lessons, they learn and apply,

Their choices, wise, like a river's gentle sigh.

But on the other side, a different tale unfolds,

Of suffocating control, where freedom's never told.

A teenager's cry, for autonomy and space,

Is met with iron fists, and a suffocating pace.

Their soul, a bird, with wings clipped and worn,

Beats fiercely, longing to soar, to be reborn.

In this cage of constraint, they search for air,

And find deceit's whisper, a tempting, treacherous snare.

Lies and rebellion, a toxic, deadly brew,

Poison their heart, and all they once held true.

Their future, shrouded, like a dark, foreboding night,

As failure's heavy chains, bind them tight.

In this bleak landscape, a child's spirit fades,

Their laughter silenced, like a flower that's wilted, shades.

Their eyes, once bright, with hope and dreams aglow,

Now dim, like embers, of a fire that's lost its glow.

Oh, the phases they endure, in this joyless grind,

A teenager's anguish, as their freedom's left behind.

From frustration's spark, to desperation's flame,

They search for escape, and a life that's not tamed.

But still, a glimmer of hope, a light in the dark,

A chance for redemption, a new path to embark.

For in the depths of their soul, a voice still whispers low,

"Rise up, dear heart, and claim your freedom's glow."
