Searched for the warmth you had in the glowing lights.

I wandered around the empty barren streets all alone ,

Since you left , was it actually you or was that your clone ?

No words could explain , no gesture could show ,

The love that I still have, even the distance couldn't stop it to grow .

Gazing at the shining stars , in the clear dark night ,

All the good memories hitting , my heart took a flight.

But then my heart sank, recalling you once near,

I begged you to stay, but you refused to hear.

I often wonder ,

When you return and find me torn apart ,

Will you hold me close or will it shatter your heart?

Will pride fill you eyes

For the battles I won and strength I gained ,

For the storms that changed me and the wisdom i claimed ?

Or will you feel nothing , leaving me on the lonely street ,

While we'll drift again in different boats that will never meet.

Will it shatter me again, or will it set me free,

From the dream of what we were, or what we could be?

I wish you knew , it was always you.
