You all might have thought that our parents are the most stirct and we all have once in our lives have had this thought that i hate my parents in a fit of rage or whatever. But have you ever really thought of stuff from the parents point of view? How the things or choices they are making for you has come from years of experience? I mean they were once kids too right. Even though you feel like your parents dont care about you or hate you and or are unhappy by you, thats not true its their first time being parents too you know? how can you expect them to know how to deal with every situation or every problem ? So cut some slack off of your parents too at times.
No parent is perfect nor will they ever be. Everyone have different teaching methods different ideologies, different opinion and what not. I don't know about you but ive personally seen the people around me with stricter parents and the kids who tend to do stuff they're not allowed to. Hear me out. For a person who is allowed to hang out with their friends on a daily basis which is appropriate don't sneak out as much as kids who aren't allowed to. Maybe because they arent allowed to go out as much they have this need to do what theyre not allowed to? The things we arent allowed to do, it becomes more interesting more exciting to do and you then tend to do it.
People will no freedom at all suppose till 12th or so or when they finally have to get out of the hell hole finally into the real world and they go off to collage or hostels they dont know what to do with so much freedom. Freedom theyve never had before this. Everything becomes SOO EXCITING because they have never got to experience it in the first place. This can lead to the child making bad decisions because they just do not know how to handle the situation properly. This includes doing drugs, partying every other day, getting involved with the wrong people. This happens unintentionally but its really harmful too. A person who is not allowed to drive is more keen to learn driving and might as well do it without their parents permission and then it might get out of hand leading to many bad situations like accidents etc.. This is just an example of the billion other possible things that can happen.
My main intention of writing this is for parents to realize the more youre going to hold your kids back is the more amount of bad things they are going to do which you were afraid of in the first place. Does this mean that you should allow your kids to hang out with their friends everyday late at night? Or go clubbing? No. You should allow you kids to do the minimum. Stop restricting them to do the smallest things. Some parents might think keeping the kids off of the internet is a good thing. How? Are you scared the internet is a bad place? Everything has its ups and downs and there is not one thing in this entire world that is always going to be safe. You need to start giving your kids like a bit freedom. Kids are going to be spoiled and theyre going to have no idea how to adjust with the real world because these over protective parents have just spoiled their kids so much.
Its important to know not everything is always a bad influence and you need to keep the restrictions in moderation because as the world grows children also need to grow with their time so theyre able to fit in better theyre able to understand each other. You might think this is okay but its really not because not every other kid is brought up this way.
