What if there was no religion but only compassion,
What if there were no ceremonies but only moral lessons,
What if there were no religious texts but only humanity at its best,
What if there was no authority but just tacit egality,
What if there were no compulsions but just valid reasons,
What if it was just more of me and you and not just bickering of religions,
Wouldn't it be more just and humane ,
More fulfilling than the state organized pain,
What if there was no state, no made up moral gates,
All I do is wonder for what could have been,
For the reality I live in there's not much left unseen.
