And through the corner where the window sat,
wearing a dirty green cloth,
and trails of broken glass panels,
The view was unreasonably so calm.
The sky was blue, but it coloured my heart in rainbow.
If those tree filled hills had ears,
it would’ve heard the sky’s pain
and maybe mine too.
