Now to you should be aimming for 1/2KG of fat loss in 1 and a half day to achive that you have to be buring 4800 calories from which approx 2000+calories will be bured automatically you just have to walk and do some basic cardiac excersies throught the day buring 1000 calories.

■ preparation and challenges:
Let's talk about preparations first.
To be honest nothing special just get some pouch of electrolytes take them with your water every alternate day.
Your daily water intakes should be more then 3 liters.
Keep doing strength training to minimize loosing muscles and avoid loosing strength.
Most important is having a will power to not gave in to your cravings.
Let's talk about some challenges you will face:
In the starting 2-3 days you will feel insanely hungry and lethargy. Just have to deal with it possible solutions will be chugging up water whenever you feel hunger and being motivated .
Next challenges would be for those you live with parents well let's just say looking at food and seeing the eat while not being able to yourself is not a pleasant feelings tbh there's only on solution and that's be deciplined.
Third would be dizziness and insomnia which is pretty much cured if you exercise well before sleep and take your electrolytes every alternate days.
Now how long if you ask ? It should be around 7 days or 14 if it's your first time you will lose about 8 KGs in 14 days and your mental health and overall health would be improved.
■ How to break your fast ?
Well you don't need to know much just be careful not to eat high carb foods and complex protein foods as your body have adapted in fat based metabolism soo just get some high fat foods if you eat non veg go for boiled chicken soup for first day , boiled and seasoned vegetables for the next 2 then you can introduce protein throw meat or paneer or soya whatever suits you and always little by little in a small intervals . [ if you introduce complex food like meat or fast food in first 2 days you might trigger reefeeding syndrome which is Even deadly in some cases] though no need to worry you just need to be careful that's all.
