A night safari can be understood as a tour to the wildlife during the late evening hours. It is usually done to have a sense of the natural habitats of the wild animals. Usually, a night safari consists of a group of five to ten (subjective as per the safari policies) people depending upon the respective set of participants and the specific guidelines. 1. Beauty of natural habitat- The safari tries to present the animals as a part of their unique and natural habitat. This helps us to mindfully generate awareness on what does the natural habitat of a particular animal exactly look like. There are diverse animal species that can be found in the night safari which further enhances its beauty. I have observed that the animals look very relaxed in their natural home like environment and this gives us a great opportunity to be appreciative of the beauty of the natural habitat of the animals under the enchanting darkness of the sky.
2. Behavioral pattern- An important observation regarding the behavioral patterns of the animals at night safari is that mostly the animals are at peace within their natural environment and they usually do not cause any harm to the external environment. However, this can vary subjectively depending upon their caregiver and the kind of grooming or training that they might have received. The calmness of the animals under the glitter of stary dark sky is truly mesmerizing.

Rs. 4093. Adherence to the safety protocols- Adherence to the safety protocols ensures the safety of both the humans as well as the animal species at the Safari. Sometimes, lack of adherence in the form of trying to enter the natural environment of the animal species as well as using flashlights of camera could disturb the animal species and could also trigger them to some extent, risking the safety of other safari passengers as well. Hence, it is equally important to ensure complete safety to the formulated safety protocols of the Night safari. The guidelines can vary from one place to the other but might also contain some generic aspects of commonality.
4. Appreciating efforts-I feel it is truly worth appreciating the efforts of the people and administration who preserve the natural habitats of the animals and also provide us an opportunity to experience and be in awe of the natural habitat of various kinds of animal species which could also help us to connect better with them.
I feel Night Safari offers a great opportunity to understand and connect more with the wildlife species and broaden and enhance our overall understanding about how do these animals live and interact in their natural habitat along with the some of the challenges that these animals might face. Simultaneously, a night safari could also help us cherish some memorable moments spent in the Nature and take a moment to acknowledge its immeasurable significance!
