The city's busy life succumbs its people to such an extent that nowadays humanity is long forgotten in the hustle to survive. Increased interaction in the virtual world through screens led to increased confinement within one's own spaces or just being comfortable with a few people rather than stepping out, meeting new people, or getting acquainted.
Likewise, the third floor of the building had two halves with a long connecting corridor. But unfortunately, if one corner always had hustle and bustle, the others remained concealed amongst the layer of silence, as if they had no owners. But was that true? No. It seemed deserted to the people outside.
The people residing knew how much bonding and happening things the walls witnessed. The people veiled in silence who tried to knock and make themselves comfortable were shut down.
It's just people remained so comfortable amongst themselves that interacting amongst themselves felt so good that they overlooked the fact that others claimed as strangers can also turn into great friends.
But once they broke the wall of silence and tried to step into the silent corridors and move further, they heard the echoes of happiness and felt the bubble of warmth.
Just like that, the people in the silent corridors happily accepted the others who somehow remained lost in the chaos. They found acceptance and love in the lane they thought remained deserted and neglected. They learned how much one can achieve if they open their fists and receive. Be open to people, their choices, and their differences.
That's how the corner that never had visitors now basks in the joy of people who found a new meaning of sisterhood or brotherhood.
