Happily ever after part 4

He left for his job with a happy contented sad heart. Happy that he did express his feelings and they were reciprocated and sad that he will not be able to see her everyday. Well that's life, it will keep testing us.

He performed very well at job getting good feedback early promotions etc. He used to write mails to her daily telling about his day how much he missed her. He wanted to call her daily on her landing but refrained thinking that this will affect her studies and also her parents might disapprove.

She used to miss him as well. But she knew she had to concentrate on her studies. She used to check her mails weekly. She used to wait desperately to go to cafe to read those journals from him.

It continued like this for few months and then one day in class she saw him. She rubbed her eyes thinking she was dreaming or hallucinating. There be was seated at the back bench with few other seniors. She could neither control her smile nor express it. One good thing was that this was after the semester exams so a little distraction will not hamper.

Seeing her astonishment the professor told that they had invited a few seniors to share their experiences. Her seat was occupied by one of the seniors hence she had to sit next to him on the last bench. He slipped a note in her hand which she pocketed immediately.

All the seniors shared their stories, gave some tips etc.

She excused herself for restroom break and read his note.

Apparently he had mailed her about his visit but she had not checked because of exams. Today he wanted her to leave early and go for a drive. He wanted to spend these few hours with her, holding her hand, lost in her eyes, smile. He also had a surprise for her

She came to class and acted as if she was feeling unwell and wanted to leave early. Her friends asked if they should accompany her but she refused.

She started walking to the main gate and there he was already waiting in his car.

He was looking smarter and charming than before. His spectacles, dressing sense , way of talking had improved but the soul was the same deeply madly immensely in love with her.

They went again to the same spot where they went the last time.

He held her hand, sat very close to her, he smelled her hair, looked at her from top to bottom, he missed her it was so so evident.

They spoke for few hours he telling her everything, she detailing our her days .

It started getting darker and she said it was time to leave before her parents start getting worried. He took out a box from his hand for her. It was a mobile phone with sim etc. He showed her the features and how to use. He shared his mobile number as well. She was reluctant because what would she tell her parents. He told her to keep it in silent mode or switch off. It was for those desperate days when they really want to connect and talk.

Again with a heavy happy but sad heart they hugged and said their byes.

Now she was in the last semester. He had already shared he resume in his company. And as luck would have it, she got the job. He called on landing and informed her. She her parents were on cloud nine.

They thanked him, they knew him as a senior as a mentor as one of the successful ones. They didn't know anything more than that.

She completed her exams. A few days before her farewell, he had come down again, this time only him.

He wanted to take her for saree shopping for farewell.

She was given some amount by her parents and was supposed to go for shopping with her friend.

But she altered the plans for him.

He bought her a very very pretty and slightly expensive lilac colour saree. She looked like a million bucks in that. He had never seen her in that beautiful Indian attire before.

He got a call from college and professor asked a few seniors to come on the farewell day. He was the king of manifestation.

Now he would be able to see her on that day, he wanted to kiss her. He restricted himself as he did not want to divert her attention from studies. But now with a job in hand and no tension of exams, he could take this step.

He went back and visited again on farewell day. She was indeed looking her best that day with an inert radiant glow which shone so bright because of love. A girl when she knows that her admirer, lover would be present will always look extra beautiful.

He could not take his eyes off her at all. He wanted to be just with her all the time. But it was not possible and he was getting restless and irritated.

She realised that and left the farewell party earlier with him.

They went for a long drive and then there under the bright heavenly moonlight, he held her hands, hugged her tight and then kissed her.

She hesitated initially but then she liked it. It was a major next step in their love journey.

After a while she told him to drop her home otherwise her parents will start getting suspicious.

He wanted to meet her parents to give a reassurance about her job. It seemed like a perfect opportunity.

He a perfect gentleman created an amazing everlasting second impression. They were impressed and held him high in their thoughts.

He again said bye to her, this time a distant farewell as her parents were watching. The feel of the hug and kiss were lingering in their minds and body. Both of them spoke on the mobile for few hours.

He knew that very soon she will be with him in the same company. He would have to however control himself his feelings to not do anything inappropriate.

Came the day when she joined. He was like in the best mood of his life.

He had already arranged accommodation etc for her. Everything was very well taken care of. He was her senior both in college and office and he had to act like that. Hence in office they would behave like acquaintances.

On weekends they would go on drives, lunches, dinner etc but all within the boundaries of society. He would steal a few kisses here and then but nothing more than that. Time flew with both of them working romancing and they didn't realise how one year passed away.
