The feeling of helplessness,
Creeps into my mind, inching slowly and spreading all over
The dynamic shift my eyes can't believe
The land, once green, now turned dead and barren.
As if signifying the end in the near future,
The light once peeking, forcing us to close the eyes,
Now invisible, not veiled but vanished,
Not even a single trace of a droplet of water can be found.
Not even a single landscape of greenery to be seen.
The sky filled with hues of orange and red, with smoke and flames of fire igniting all around.
People turned against each other for earlier taken-for-granted grain and water.
Fights erupting everywhere, peace shredded like paper into pieces.
Harmony feels like a long-lost sister.
Only traces of evil can be seen.
Life struggling to survive.
As if time had dated backwards,
War all around, everything turning into ashes,
Once a picture of love and harmony,
Now a memory and escape for the one who's gone and a nightmare for the survivors.
Struggling for a new life, waiting for a magic to happen,
To turn the cycle of time and restore the picture.
