The new iPhone camera design looks ugly. I hope they don't do that. The camera design has too much space. I feel like something should go there, or that black bar should be shrunk. Hopefully, all matte finish with textured grips. Beyond looks, what does this new rectangle camera block do? Have they made the components that much bigger or is it just a plastic block to ‘look different’ from previous iPhones?

iPhone 17 Pro Specifications: Rectangular Camera Design
What is the point of having this huge elevated rectangle if you are going to make the camera lenses stick out further anyway? Why not make the camera lenses flush with the surface of this rectangle? Who is designing this junk? So many options. Make the phone thicker but light. No protruding bumps. Symmetry for the love of God! All this thinness is missing the point!
The RAM upgrade from 8GB to 12GB is huge! This will make Apple Intelligence features run much smoother. Better multitasking for everyone. Can't wait to see how this performs in real-world tests. I wonder if they’re finally going to go faster on charging since it’s been on 27W for a bit. A good 35-45W at the least would be nice.
The key part for Apple in 2025 is to make sure the software features are ready, instead of dealing with delays for months. At this point these small camera additions seem more like a gimmick than traditional Apple innovation. Hopefully I am proven wrong.
I would love to have more health features, everything is perfect as it is. It’s not mandatory but if it’s possible to increase battery life for a day, it would be perfect!
