I published this book in January named "The Butterfly's Escape". At first I didn't know anything about it, I had lot's of questions back then when I first started writing poems after my 10th examination. My first poem was "The world as a parasite" today I am going to share with you my journey of how I became a writer. I will share with you the link of the book, you can read the sample poems. And decide whether you want it or not.
So it was 2022, I gave my 10th examination and was just chilling, the result came out and I was satisfied with the marks, as it was good. Those were happy times, because I got a laptop as a gift from my parents, money , sweets etc because of good grades.
But suddenly one day something happened, I don't remember exactly what had happened, but I became sad, I was completely frustrated, angry, sad and lots of other emotions which were inside me came like a storm on a paper. At first I thought that I will just write something like a diary on notepad. But then I ended up writing a poem, where my words were like a puzzle that can be interpreted in many ways. For some reason I decided to put it on my WhatsApp status. My friends really like those poem, so I kept writing but it was only a hobby which was keeping me from being insane.
When I realised people were liking my poems, I started finding platforms where I can write, lots of failed attempt, but then I got to know about Amazon kdp, and I worked hard, did lots of research, and ended up publishing my books. I got 8 sales I know it's pretty low, and the fact is I sold it for free for almost a week. So people bought and then it stopped.
The book has a collection of 51 amazing poems, from love, life, spirituality, success, pain, guilt, fear of failure, how to move on. Those poems are part of me. I really don't know if people will like it or not, but I did try my best to write it. Most of the poems are long. I wonder if you will like it or not. I am thinking of lowering it's price. Because I think, maybe then people might consider buying it. I won't sugarcoat my words, that it was solely passion for which I pursued writing.
It was passion but more than that it was the stubbornness of mine to earn from my passion, rather than doing things in the way others do, I choose a different path, where success isn't guaranteed but who knows you might succeed.
My words are like swirling emotions,
Which can't be comprehended in one way,
You can shape it, the way you want,
It makes you feel exactly what you meant to feel.
I hope that it will give you peace, hope and serenity.
