My friend Asha is teaching Mathematics in my school.
She is a very good mathematics teacher. She generously #donates most of her savings, to where she thinks she should do.
She goes out of the way and always helps #poor students.
One day we got the sad news that Madam Asha was found to be suffering from #cancer.

She is in her late 40’s. The whole staff of my school was in pain. Everyone said the same thing-“Why is life so hard on good persons?”
I was also disturbed and wished for the speedy recovery of my friend Asha from her serious illness.
Every day I used to do self-talk. It is a fact that when thousands and lacs of young people also suffer from the same disease but people do not talk about the same issue with that much degree of pain that everyone talks for Madam Asha.
The question is why people are in pain for my friend Asha. The first answer I got was that this is so because she (Asha) is a good-hearted woman, who #helps every needy person.
Another day at night in my dream I got another dimension of answer to the same question.
Life is not extra hard for good people. But somehow people expect life to be fair and good for helpful people.
According to me, life knows no good and bad. It runs on its #terms. Hindu epic Shrimad Bhagvat #Geeta explains the same in terms of #karma theory.
The spontaneous answer that struck me at night is being good and helpful is a #trait, not a #business!. It does not involve simple mathematics as sometimes we think.
The question is that it is not easy for a layman involved in so many day-to-day activities to evaluate his/her karma. That needs a certain level of #maturity.
The good news is Madam Asha is doing well and is slowly coming out of her ollness. Whole school is praying for her speedy recovery. Her trait ‘of being’ helpful‘ is appreciated by everyone.
