Looking from the porchway
A group of lovely kids
All the problems, ran away
As the dirt castles were built
I wish I were child
Which dwelled in my mind
Gazing at their faces
I felt a tenderness in my heart
The discarded shoes
Portraying the playground’s rampart
I wish I were child
Which dwelled in my mind
They tried to catch each other
With tenacity and might
Even when they fall, they acted tougher
Which portrayed bravery and overexcite
I wish I were a child
Which dwelled in my mind
The dusk was imminent
And they dashed back to home
They were close and vigilant
From the danger which roamed
I wish I were a child
Which dwelled in my mind
