Holi—a festival of colours, food, and joyous moments. Basically a well-spent event for some; it's a day for some, it's weeks.

For me, Holi is about a day and a week when it comes to preparation. This Holi, like every year, was simple, homely, and well spent with lots of music and favourite food.

Though I don't practice gratitude or can't relate to it. But this time I feel being grateful sometimes is good, and this time being able to spend Holi at your home away from hustle and a regular life, enjoying the holiday bliss, and actually doing nothing and simply enjoying the event. I feel blessed.

Well, the Holi was all about food. And with food comes a blissful family time. Having conversations, sharing endless talks. Making gujiyas with family, buying good utensils, and actually sharing gujiya with loved ones. It was amazing. From shopping for ingredients for making thandai or fritters to buying colours, it was awesome.

And as I said, it was all about food for me. What is a Holi without dahi vade? And a variety of coloured papads.

Finally savouring the hot sweet gujiyas, to chugging the chilled thandai. It was amazing with a hint of trying to capture aesthetic photos and wishing people a joyous Holi to teasing a few and tempting them to come home soon. And no, Holi is not about excessive playing with colours. Just sharing a small celebration with family.

So Holi was amazing. How did you spend your Holi?
