18th April 2008, the very first match of the IPL ever. KKR vs RCB. A 1-man show. Brendon McCullum's 158*. Virat Kohli was out for just 1 run in his debut IPL match. What a transformation by King Kohli from not reading the ball in the first match to becoming the first player in the IPL to score 8000 runs.
Each & everyone has to start from Zero. This should be a reminder to all those, including me, to have patience and never give up. You may be an absolute nobody today, but with consistent effort and the right attitude you can achieve what you have set out to achieve.
The 2008 KKR and RCB jerseys were so cool and fun. In fact, I loved the Deccan Chargers' jersey in season 1 as well. Now it feels like either you have blue (GT, MI, DC variant, RR has blue shades, LSG and even KKR with Purple towards Blue frequency) or red (RCB, KXIP, DC variant) as jersey color (only CSK and SRH are different). 2008 IPL season was so vibrant and vivid jersey color wise.
