    We all understand and relate to the concept of Introspection subjectively. I feel Introspection is a very broad concept that can be defined in various ways. One way to understand and define Introspection can be the process of simply being with ourselves with a deep inner focus. Introspection is practiced by us based on our own personalized life experiences and the manner in which we feel the most connected to it. Some of the possible ways to practice and develop Introspection is as follows:

    1. Chanting-This practice can be applied as per our own personalized belief system and the way in which we might feel connected to a respective set of values. Chanting is a comprehensive practice and it can be practiced in various ways-through reciting spiritual mantras, just spending some time thinking about the Divine Universe. If we find strength and calmness from Music, then we can also try and recite our most loved musical notes by practicing chanting alongside those notes. I feel Chanting is a very interesting and an engaging way to help us deeply connect with ourselves and thereby it can help to build focus in the process of introspection.

    2. Establishing a connect with Nature-I feel spending some precious time with the Nature can also help us to enhance our practice of Introspection. The way we connect with Nature is also very different. Sometimes, we might like going for morning/evening walks, visiting mountains, going to river side, lakes, surrounding ourselves with plants and many such ways. I feel that being with Nature can help us have more inner peace and foster some degree of motivation to be with our thoughts.

    3. Creating a personal journal-One way to build the practice of Introspection can be in the form of creating a personal journal. Here, we can have a set of specific formats designed by us or a specific set of questions pertaining to different aspects that we consider as crucial for ourselves. This can be one of the creative ways to boost our degree of motivation and help channelizing our focus towards Introspection.

    4. Specific time segmentation- This practice will focus on allocating a specific time for practicing Introspection in our day-to-day schedule. We can start from 5-10 minutes per day and increase that time duration gradually as per our suitability. This practice can allow us a great scope of reflection, making us more aware about ourselves as well as the critical areas of focus for us. During this allocated time, we can also practice deep breathing exercises and meditate as well. This allocated time will be all about building and developing our practice of Introspection in the way we want to curate and personalize it.

    I feel the greatest beauty of Introspection is that it can be practiced in various ways and we can also utilize creativity to enhance its practice, this makes it even more engaging as a process. I feel working on and building Introspection can enhance our focus, make us more self-aware and this can also make us feel more peaceful with ourselves. It can also help us give some ideas on how to rework on a specific task that requires completion, which might be directly/indirectly related to the accomplishment of our goals. After all, to know our own selves a lot better is the most unique and precious thing!
