Oh radiant muse, thou dost inspire
A heart so tender, set afire.
Wherefore dost thine eyes, so bright,
Illuminate my dreary night?
Like stars that waltz on velvet skies,
Thy gaze, a realm where beauty lies.
Thy voice, a dulcet, lilting stream,
Soft whispers weave a lover's dream.
Dost thou not feel the kindling spark,
That lights the soul, eβen in the dark?
For love, that ancient, hallowed art,
Hath bound thee fast unto my heart.
O fleeting days when passion swells,
Where echoes ring as poets tell:
A love that blooms with petals fair,
Immortal βgainst the tempest's snare.
Though flesh may fade, and seasons fleet,
In love's embrace, all life doth meet.
