Hello, thank you for taking the time to view my article. It’s lovely to have you here! Let’s get started.
I have always felt some kind of connection with Nature and its various inhabitants. Green spaces have been one of my favorite go-to- places and the thought of spending some time with Nature has always inspired me and I always try to learn something with the time spent. Plants form a very integral part of our lives as well as the Nature. Following are some of the key learnings (based on my observation) from plants:

1. Persistence-Plants have immense patience and I feel that further motivates them to be persistent towards their goal of survival and to cope up with the natural process of growing and nurturing itself as an essential part of the natural environment.
2. Resilience-Plants also depict great resilience because they are continuously adapting and responding to the ever-changing environment around them. There are various challenges around them in the form of change of temperature, sometimes they too have to cope up with extreme weather conditions, lack of water availability, soil erosion along with other environmental constraints. Hence, being resilient helps plants to cope up well with the external challenges and embrace their changes as well.
3. Environmental contribution-Despite facing so many environmental challenges, Plants play a meaningful role in contributing towards the natural environment. It provides key sources of food for consumption for human beings as well as other inhabitants of the natural environment. It also helps in maintaining the natural habitat and recharges the oxygen in the atmosphere, playing a vital role in preventing air pollution. This showcases how praiseworthy is its contribution as a whole.
4. Calmness-Plants also have a natural tinge to be calm and absorb the stress that they might be feeling. I feel they also tend to absorb the stress of other people as well when we tend to spend some time around them just by looking at them and observing it quietly. Its soothness is surely something to cherish and the peace that we can get by simply spending some time with them is truly amazing.
5. Connecting to Nature-Plants form an essential component of Nature and by providing a combination of assistance to Nature’s various inhabitants, it communicates with the environment in an ongoing manner. It has its own unique way of conversing with the other components of the Nature (co-existing with it) and comprehensively participates in the process of life cycle management.
Plants have a great teaching ability and through our unique observations, we can learn so many things from it. We all have our own unique learnings from the environment and its components based on our own subjective life experiences. Like in this case, Plants taught me how exceptional they are-being calm yet resilient, being simple in their nature yet holding so much importance in the environment due to their remarkable contribution, having patience and persistence to significantly contribute to its own growth along with aiding the growth of other inhabitants of the Nature that depend on it, without expecting much in return except for its gentle care. I feel there is great importance in learning from one’s environment and then trying to adapt and apply our unique key learnings to our lives!
Thank you so much for your time. I will catch up soon and, in the meantime, wishing you a very pleasant day ahead!
