Here why?

People mistaken the adage for instant retaliation whenever they are anonyed.

That's totally wrong because it could lead to an uncontrollable anger and it very dangerous.

"There was a man whose only problem was anger. whenever he got angry, he could do anything. He had just bought a brand new car, parked it in front of the house and was rejoicing when his son took something sharp and scratched it on the new car. This man saw it and out of anger, used the first thing he saw - a hammer, to smash his son's hand. The boy screamed. upon realizing what he had done, the man rushed the boy to the hospital, where the doctor said the only solution was to amputate the boy's fingers. The following day, he went to see the boy in the hospital and the boy said to him, "Daddy, when will my fingers grow again?". The man went back home with a very heavy heart. He then decided to go and check what the boy had written on the car anyway. The boy had written on the car, "Daddy, I love you". The man was so devastated that he committed suicide.

Anger is temporary madness; that is why you hear people say, "I was mad with him".

They are forgetting that they could also hurt themselves.

"Stare into the boiling water and would see only the water boiling but when you stare into that same water when it cold and calm , you will be able to see your own reflection". Saying the moment you are angry you won't realized at what you are doing until you mistakenly did a terrible mistake.
