A mutual posted on LinkedIn about the platform turning into something else but, while her assertions are absolutely true, life has a funny way of unfolding where we least expected it.
I remember back at my previous job, when our company hired an assistant to help with sales. She was brilliant, efficient, and had this soft, soothing voice that could melt even the toughest hearts. Beyond her work ethic, she was striking—tall, graceful, and effortlessly charming. She quickly became the center of attention, and almost every man in the office, including our boss, tried (and failed) to win her over.

Surprisingly, the person who eventually got her attention wasn’t one of the usual contenders. It was our HR manager—an introverted, no-nonsense guy who barely socialized. The last person you’d expect to make a move! And yet, something clicked between them, and today, they’re happily married.
Why am I sharing this? Because while LinkedIn is primarily for networking and professional growth, people are human first. Connections happen in the most unexpected places. As long as no one is invading privacy or being inappropriate, who’s to say what’s right or wrong?
And honestly, if I didn’t already have a partner, I’d probably be "open to work" not just for jobs here on Linkedin but in more ways than that! 😅😂
